I think that would have ended my fast-food trajectory, too.
Between you & Mr. Sneed I'm feeling compelled to write about my own early work experiences. But they're not nearly so colorful, so hopefully I'll forget about the idea before I get around to doing it.
Robbing A McDonalds! That Is So Sad.I Wonder If even Robbers have to graduate " Through The Ranks" i.e. start off at McDonalds, then onto Banks & suchlike?
And wouldn't the bills be easy to trace?Covered in Grease & Stuff.......
At least you didn't offer to hold his gun for him while he pillaged and then hand it back.
And also make sure to only get shot in the head so as to not damage our precious McDonalds uniform. If shot in the uniform we will have to deduct the uniform price from your pay.
I helped my brother deliver both the San Francisco Chronicle and the, wait for it, Sacramento Bee. What are the odds. Probably about the time you were born and not yet working.

I worked the register at Payless for two weeks before they figured out I would fit much better in the pharmacy department. Glory Days.
thanks for these stories. they make me think of the early McJobs I had myself. Nothing as glamourous as at the golden arches. I poured (and spilled) coffee for guests at weddings and later, after graduating from film school, worked as a janitor to pay the rent until I got a job working at a documentary film company.
Please draw some of your conclusions.
